Yeovil RFC would like to thank Costa Cobras Club de Rugby for inviting us to the Alicante area for this weekend's match and social frivolities. This the first tour undertaken since Ivel Barbarians reverted back to the town name of Yeovil. This tour is also important to the development of our club as we have a good mix of current players, most of which are 'virgin tourists' and some old seasoned individuals who are now considered too old to even play Veterans rugby! A few of us have toured this area before and no doubt some well worn exaggerated stories will be told over the weekend as well as transitioning tour ethics and behaviours into the younger members of the group. It is worth mentioning also that we have 4 father/son combinations with us also this weekend which is testament of the diversity of the group fo 32 that we have with us. Old friendships will also have a chance of being rekindled as well this weekend as I know that some of the Costa Cobras have previous connections with the Yeovil area. It goes without saying that the Costa Cobras are welcome to visit Yeovil for a reciprocal tour.
